Metal injection moulding is a process in which a powdered metal is mixed with a binding material that is then shaped using injection moulding. This process allows complicated parts to be manufactured in one step.
Metal injection moulding can be cheaper and faster on high volume complex parts than machining. It’s capable of producing:
- Complex shapes
- High and low volume
- Prototypes at a faster rate
