Food transportation is probably one of the most important parts of the whole food production process from step 1 to the food being in the supermarket.
Food has to, more often than not, be transported at the correct temperature so that it is safe to consume which means the materials used in the transportation will need to be able to withstand colder temperatures without cracking/warping.
Like with how stainless steel can be used in fridges and food storage, it will be used similarly used in the transportation of food and can easily be cleaned for if the type of food being transported is changed.
